Good value for Discovery Set

I was looking to try some new scents without spending a lot. The Discovery Set was a solid option. Got to test several fragrances, which felt like a good deal for the price. Shipping was free too, which always helps. Pretty happy with what I got for my money.

Detailed thoughts on my order

I placed an order for the 75ml Eau de Parfum of Mousse Illuminee. The website was easy to navigate, and the checkout process was straightforward. I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took about 6 business days from the order date, arriving in a well-padded box. The bottle was securely wrapped, and the scent itself is complex and long-lasting, exactly as described by other reviews I'd read. I had a question about the batch number, and their support team responded within 24 hours with a helpful answer. The atomizer works perfectly, giving a fine mist. No issues with quality or the overall experience.

Love my new fragrance!

Just received my 30ml of Bon Monsieur and it is amazing! The scent is so unique and lasts forever. I've been wanting to try Rogue Perfumery for ages and I'm so glad I finally did. This is my new favorite, absolutely going to recommend it to everyone I know. Will definitely be ordering more soon!

Consistent quality, reliable brand

This was my third purchase from Rogue Perfumery, this time a 30ml of Chypre-Siam. I've always been impressed with the consistency of their fragrances. My first order was a sample pack, then a full bottle of Tabac Vert, and each time the quality has been top-notch. Shipping was free again, as usual for domestic orders, and it arrived in about a week. They clearly stick to their strengths, which is why I keep coming back.

Thinking about snagging a bottle during Black Friday. How good are their sales usually? Worth waiting for?

J Jason Turner 2 weeks ago
They don't do massive sales like some brands, but usually you can get maybe 10-15% off during Black Friday. It's not huge but it's something, especially on a bigger bottle.

M Matt W. 1 week ago
Their Black Friday sales are usually pretty modest. I've seen around 10-15% off, not like a 50% clearance or anything. If you want something specific, it's a small bonus, but don't expect crazy deep discounts.

I heard Manuel Cross is the perfumer. Is he the only one creating all the scents or does he have a team?

B Brian Garcia 3 days ago
As far as I know, it's pretty much all him. It's an artisanal house, so it's his vision and creations from what I understand.

M Megan D. 1 day ago
Yeah, Rogue is his baby. He's the nose behind everything. That's why it has such a distinct style, you know?

Hey, wondering how long shipping usually takes for Rogue Perfumery orders to, like, California? Trying to figure out if I can get something before a trip.

J Justin W. 2 weeks ago
Mine took about 5 business days to get to SoCal last time. They're pretty quick once it ships.

B Betty Rodriguez 1 week ago
Yeah, I'm in NorCal and it's usually less than a week for me. Not Amazon fast, but definitely not dragging.

Can I return a bottle if I blind-buy it and just hate the smell? Or am I stuck with it?

D Donna Mitchell 3 days ago
Nah, usually for fragrances, if you've opened and sprayed it, you can't return it because they can't resell it. That's why samples are key!

J Jennifer 1 day ago
Yeah, almost no perfume houses let you return an opened bottle. It's a hygiene thing, and also you could just try it and send it back. Definitely get samples first for this brand, they're strong.

Is Rogue Perfumery actually cruelty-free? It's important to me when buying fragrances.

S Susan Perez 3 weeks ago
Yep, they are! I checked that out before my first order too. It's listed in their FAQs somewhere, I think.

M Mary Allen 3 weeks ago
Yeah, pretty sure they don't test on animals. That's one of the reasons I felt good about supporting them.

Does Rogue Perfumery offer free shipping to Canada? Or is that only for US orders?

B Brittany Roberts 4 weeks ago
I think free shipping is only for domestic (US) orders. International usually has a shipping fee. I'm in Canada and always pay for shipping.

R Rachel Lopez 3 weeks ago
Free shipping is just for US. For Canada, you'll definitely have to pay extra, and sometimes customs too depending on the value. Keep that in mind!

Thinking of trying Bon Monsieur but not sure on the size. Is the 30ml pretty decent or should I just go for the 75ml to begin with?

J Jeff H. 6 days ago
The 30ml is a good size if you're not sure. I mean, it'll last a while since these are pretty strong. My 30ml of Mousse Illuminee is still going strong after months.

E Elizabeth 5 days ago
Depends on how much you spray, but 30ml is totally fine for testing it out properly. If you love it, you can always upgrade later, or just get another 30ml if you want to keep it fresh.

How do Rogue Perfumery scents compare to something like Zoologist? Are they in a similar vein, or totally different?

J Justin M. 2 weeks ago
They're different, I'd say. Zoologist is very conceptual and often pushes boundaries in a wild way, while Rogue is more about vintage vibes and classic perfumery, but with a modern twist. Both high quality though!
4
N Nathan Roberts 2 weeks ago
Totally different vibe. Zoologist is often very 'out there' and animalic, while Rogue is more focused on classic structures, using ingredients that might remind you of older, discontinued scents. If you like classic fougeres or chypres, Rogue is more your lane.
